Why Metameme studies infohazards
Metameme analyses how an idea changes when it is simplified, amplified, attached to status, or released into the wrong institutional context. The goal is not to treat every unsettling idea as dangerous. The goal is to understand when a true claim becomes harmful because of timing, framing, incentives, or audience.
